Venue & accommodation

BPSC2020 will be held in the Martin Wood Lecture Theatre, Department of Physics, The University of Oxford, Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3PU.

Transport: The venue is 20 minutes’ walk from Oxford train station. There is very little parking in Oxford city centre – those arriving by car are encouraged to use the Park & ride bus service, the Water Eaton & Pear Tree parking P&R buses stop near the meeting venue. Those with impaired mobility or other access requirements can contact us for reserved parking spaces onsite.

Accommodation

Due to the start of term, it has not been possible to book a block of college / university rooms for the conference. Some rooms may be available: links to try include

There was a block of 50 rooms reserved at the Courtyard Marriott Oxford City Centre hotel. This newly built hotel is in in the centre of Oxford, adjacent to Oxford Castle, near the station and 15 minutes walk from the meeting venue. This dedicated block of rooms was held until 2 Dec 2019, but you may still find rooms there or at other nearby hotels using internet hotel websites.
